Sweet Memories is standing RY Major Equity. Watch Major and Alise and imagine his unbelievable great disposition in your ponies. He presents a great opportunity to out-cross with all of your mares from other performance brood lines.
Major is out of Invested Equity, a son of The Invester. Our goal is to increase the odds of raising champions by breeding mares who can have successful show careers.
In 2007, we decided to name all our POA's with the sir-name "Dutch". Thus from this time on you will know that any "Dutch" pony comes from Sweet Memories Stables and the Dykstra's!

We have Broodmares in foal to various stallions, and show prospects for sale of every age. We also offer individual horses at select sales events during the year.

Alise and Dacia have both been riding POA's for years. Over that time ponies have come and gone, pickup and trailers have changed, and our facilities have grown and expanded until we formalized our stable's name. Thus Sweet Memories Stables was created. We actually thank Christine Mc Cann who came up with the name during a church sermon (given by our pastor, her husband.) The name is in memory of Silvia, Silver Sweet. After Silvia's extremely successful show career in 2004, she suddenly passed away.
